A drawing by Charles Percier depicting a chimney project kept in the Louvre (inv. RF30630) is part of the "Return of Egypt" aesthetic in style since the end of the 18th century. This model of a female Nubian was adapted by the bronze artist Pierre-Philippe Thomire and applied onto a console housed today at the Grand Trianon. Furthermore, it appears on several diverse candelabras, such as the pair kept at the Salm mansion serving as the Palace of the Legion of Honor (inv. GLMC 696), those at Valençay Château, and those at Pavlovsk Palace.
