- 45 cm, 17 3/4 in.
set at either end with a high relief lion mask handle, painted around the exterior with shrubs on fenced terraces below a Fitzhugh border at the shoulder and a stiff leaf band at the neck
Condition
There are several chips to the rim (the largest approx. 6 x 0.4 cm). Surface wear/scratches and firing imperfections are also visible, including burst bubbles, glaze lines and glaze pulls. Apart from the above, this cistern is in good condition.
