leaf moulded and of baluster form, the shaped feet moulded with flowers on a basket work ground border, painted with scattered bouquets and sprigs of deutsche Blumen, blue crossed swords marks, small foot rim chip and slight wear

Condition

One example with chip to the underside of the foot rim. Crack around bases of the stem where they join the foot, glazed over at the time of manufacture, gilding rubbed and scratched and slightly mis-fired. The mis-firing is apparent in the lean to both stems, a short firing crack to the edge of one scroll at the footrim of one candlestick and the green enamels to the leave moulded to the stem which is uneven and has some bare patches. One base has a few scattered patches of the turquoise-green enamel used on the leaves which has marked the foot.
