This decorative piece is in good reasonable condition. The mounts are all 18th century, but were re-gilt in the 20th century. The surface has some chips as visible in the catalogue photograph and can be easily touched up. The black ground has been in most parts re-polished and retouched. The gilt and coloured designs with extensive retouching. The marble top apparently original. An attractive piece.
