Generally of reasonable good appearance, although there are some areas of overpainting which have discoloured. Cracked through lower jaw, the tail broken through with associated restoration to the tail and where it connects to the body, some chipping and restoration to tufts of hair on its right ear and to its chest, some firing cracks to the underside, the felt cover wood base is relatively modern and crude.
