of Palissy type, the figures modelled flanking a well, enriched in typical palette

Condition

She has been broken through the neck and restored otherwise of good appearance. Some scattered chipping and glaze flaking. Minute chip to the tip of Christ's thumb on right hand, a wide shallow chip to the fold of robe by right knee (this has been re-touched with brown pigment). The underside of the group is encrusted with dark brown cement (see images).
