The teapot with chip to rim and foot rim, and glaze flaking; the cover, probably a match from the period, painted in the same palette but with a different pattern and a form more typical of the cover of a teacaddy, with three shallow chips to top edge. A modern metal mount added to help it fit the teapot. The tea caddy: hairline crack to base extending slightly up at one side, the screw top neck with flaking to glaze and minor chipping.
