描述

  • 11cm., 4 3/8 in. wide
with flower and leaf finials and pierced leaf-moulded lug handles, painted in blue and trekked in black with stylized flowers above terracing

Condition

Both with areas of restoration to the parts which are typically damaged for these types of objects. Both have been restored to a high standard and of good appearance. In more detail, both flowers to the finial have been restored and are most likely made up, the leaves of the lower tier are original and in good order. The rims of the covers have some minor glaze chipping but are generally in good order. Each tub has a restored handle, the extent of the damage below this restoration is hard to gauge definitively but the restoration is very well done. One of the tubs has been cracked across and restored, overpainted and covered in a clear varnish so is of very good appearance but again, the extent of any damage below cannot be stated definitively.
