Condition
Good overall condition. The painted wood has most likely been re-painted at a later date in the history of the piece. The paint presents with a few scratches, a few cracks and some more recent touch-ups. There are some tiny chips of paint and a few tiny chips of wood, consistent with age and use. The palm wood has been previously re-varnished and presents with a few scratches and some light scuffs, some small cracks inherent to the aging process of the material, and some tiny traces of restorations, mostly concentrated along the edges. There are a few rare and minute chips of palmwood, concentrated along the edges and some wear at the bottom of the legs, consistent with age and use. The python skin has been recently re-upholstered, is in very good overall condition and presents with some very light wear along the edges (light uplifting of some python scales)
