The ebonised wood presents with some light wear to the ebonised finish, consistent with age and use. The wood presents with a few light scratches, a few rare tiny dents , a few small chips of veneer and a few very rare previous woodworms holes.The top of one stand presents with a chip of veneer of approximately 4x1 cm along the edge. A wooden triangular element on one foot base is broken in two part but is still fixed to the foot base. On the same foot base, one foot is unfixed and this affects the stability of the stand. On both stands, the vertical ebonised wood elements are weakened and presents with some small losses at the junctions, this also affect the stability of both stands.
