Condition
Fair overall condition. This lot is sold with one key opening both cabinets. The lacquer presents with some light scratches, a few scuffs and some light dents. Some of the scuffs present with chips of lacquer, with some of them revealing the red layer beneath. The edges of both cabinets presents with some small chips, partially visible on the catalogue illustration, and they are some superficial chips of lacquer on the sides. One cabinet presents with a lacquer element of approximately 2 x 2 cm (located on the front, along the frame on the proper right side) that appear to have been refixed at a later time and presents with some tiny chips and tiny losses. Both cabinets presents with hairline cracks to the lacquer panels, more significant and large on the sides, inherent to the aging process of the material. Some chips and cracks presents with attempts of previous restorations. The metal presents with a few scratches, a few dents and some instances of oxidation.
