Etching and drypoint, 1639, a very good, bright impression of New Hollstein's second state (of five), on paper with a Strasbourg Lily watermark with 'W' (presumably Hinterding D.zz.), unframed
Condition
With narrow margins, in good condition, slightly unevenly trimmed, mount staining at upper sheet corners verso, showing faintly through recto, two tiny abrasions at lower left corner, the verso with some printer's ink, remnants of old mounting at the extreme sheet edges, a few tiny brown stains, unframed. (One of two printer's creases visible verso are inherent to production).
