The complete set, comprising ten screenprints in colours, 1968, each signed in black ball-point pen and stamp-numbered 111/250 verso (total edition includes 26 artist's proofs), printed by Salvatore Silkscreen Co., Inc., published by Factory Additions, New York, on smooth wove paper, each framed

The sheets trimmed by approx. 6 by 2mm, the red variously attenuated, otherwise in generally good condition, each sheet with some minute spots of bloom in the metallic inks, occasional slight scuff marks mostly in the silver ink, pale foxing and paper discoloration, unobtrusive handling creases, some sheets with a few small pale water stains at extreme sheet edges, the versos with foxing and minor backboard-staining, other minor defects, each framed. (A few minor printing imperfections which are inherent to production). Individual imperfections: Black Bean (F. & S. II.44): trimmed at lower sheet edge through the signature. Onion (F. & S. II.47): two vertical scratches at centre of upper image (measuring approx. 10mm), a few further minute scratches at right edge of red ink. Vegetable (F. & S. II.48): a very small area of minute scratches at right of image. Beef (F. & S. II.49): a short horizontal repaired tear at upper right sheet edge (measuring approx. 8mm), a few minute scratches in the lettering of 'SOUP'. Pepper pot (F. & S. II.51): a short scratch in the upper band of gold ink (measuring approx. 6mm), a couple of further short hairline scratches. Consommé (F. & S. II.52): a short vertical repaired tear at lower left sheet corner (measuring approx. 7mm) with an associated minute loss, two short fine scratches at upper left of lid. Cream of Mushroom (F. & S. II.53): a minute scratch at lower right and at left of silver base, a few further hairline scratches in the upper right margin (the longest measuring approx. 13mm).
