Gold brooch, Jules Wièse, late 19th century
Of Neo-Renaissance design, depicting a helmeted head within a foliate openwork surround in the Neo-Renaissance style, measuring approximately 40 x 26mm, signed Wièse, French assay mark for 18 carat gold (750°/00) and partial maker's mark, gross weight approximately 16.53 grams.
