The bicoloured case of rectangular outline, the push pieces at each end opening the central doors to reveal a fold out watch of square outline with Arabic indicators, manual winding movement, measuring approximately 40 x 31 x 8mm, signed Cartier, numbered, inscribed, British hallmarks for 18 carat gold (750°/00) and sponsor's mark for Cartier London, gross weight approximately 46.04 grams.

Interior of case behind watch with British hallmark for Glasgow, 18 carat gold (750°/00), date letter g for 1929. Initials JC for Jacques Cartier, numbered 319. Inscribed SFG Brev. Dep. Tavannes Watch Co Swiss, numbered 0828496 46. Interior of one door inscribed A. Sandford Wells, 46 Campden Hill Square W6. Reverse of watch inscribed Eileen to Archie, April 2nd 1936. Overall in good condition, some areas of wear, residue and discoloration to metal consistent with age, one small dent to watch back. Gross weight approximately 46.04 grams.
