The hexagonal dial applied with Roman numerals, the case decorated with black enamel, the reverse of onyx inset with an octagonal and square-cut diamonds, within a frame of single-cut stones, dial signed Cartier, numbered, French assay marks for 18 carat gold (750°/00), suspended from a later clasp set with brilliant-, single-cut and baguette diamonds, French assay mark for platinum (950°/00) and maker's marks, total gross weight approximately 28.09 grams.

Condition

Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of its time keeping and therefore a service should be carried out in the near future at the buyer's expense. Accompanied by a Cartier certificate of authenticity and a Cartier insurance document, stating that the later brooch fitting is not by Cartier. Dial signed Cartier. Case inscribed HSA 1948. Brooch with French maker's mark, French assay mark and stamped Pt 950 for platinum. Movement signed CARTIER PARIS, numbered 12388, 19 Jewels. Enamel in good condition, with a few scratches and nicks. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 3.50 - 4.00 carats, on average H-J colour, SI-I clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Onyx in overall good condition, with a few scratches. In very good condition. Overall length approximately 71mm. Gross weight approximately 28 grams.
