Of geometric design, set with a central marquise-shaped amethyst weighing approximately 70.00 carats, framed by single-cut diamonds and calibré-cut amethysts, signed Marzo, French assay marks for 18 carat gold (750°/00) and platinum (950°/00), partial maker's mark, gross weight approximately 29.91 grams.

Condition

Brooch signed Marzo Paris, partial maker's mark (M Flower) on the brooch pin, stamped with French assay mark for 18 carat gold (750°/00) and platinum (950°/00). Central amethyst medium-dark violetish purple, transparent. Diamonds bright and lively. Chips on some of the calibré-cut amethysts. Brooch measuring approximately 46 x 22mm. Brooch fitting closing securely. Scratches consistent with age and wear, overall in good condition. Gross weight approximately 29.91 grams.
