Condition
The colours in the printed catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although more contrasted and saturated than in the original work. The sheet of paper is slightly undulated, which is inherent to the artist's choice of medium. The edges of the paper are glued to the backing board. They present traces of glue under the passe-partout and are only visible once the work is unframed. The lower left corner presents traces of paper glued to the surface, mainly located on the backing board, which are certainly due to former framing. Please refer to the contemporary department for images of the work unframed. This work is in very good condition.
