Condition
The canvas board is very slightly lifted towards the corners, only visible upon close inspection, but otherwise appears sound. There is slight lifting to the furrowed collaged element at the lower right edge and along the upper edge, with flecks of associated paint loss, visible upon close inspection. There are a small number of small accretions in the paint and a few flecks of staining including what appears to be a vertical streak of varnish to the right of the upper edge. There is evidence of remnants of glue visible upon close inspection and some light surface dirt in places, particularly to the furrowed element. There is some studio matter apparent. This excepting, the work appears in good condition. Please contact the department for a reading under ultraviolet light. The work is unframed.
