Condition
The canvas is original. There are extremely fine and scattered lines of craquelure in places across the canvas, most notably at the extreme edges of the canvas around the stretcher bars. There is a match-head sized loss at the left edge in the lower left quadrant. There is a pattern of paint shrinkage across a number of areas of the paint surface, in keeping with the Artist's materials. There is some studio matter throughout and some surface dirt and detritus. This excepting the work appears to be in very good overall condition. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching.
