Original canvas, canvas is unlined. Appears to be sound. Upon close inspection there appears to be a light horizontal crease running horizontally across the upper half of the work.
There appear to be some minor black traces within the upper left hand corner of the work. There also appears to be a slight buckle to the canvas in the same area. There is a marking of what appears to be yellow paint along the right hand edge measuring approximately 20mm long. Upon close inspection there are stretcher marks along all four sides of the work, as well as associated minor loss visible to all four corners of the work. Minor residue due to glue within the lower right hand quadrant of the work. Upon very close inspection, there is an area of very minor surface loss to the end of the paintbrush Overall the painting is in good condition.
UV Light Report:
Inspection under the UV light reveals no visible signs of restoration or repair.
