There is slight humidity under glass. Minor scuff at 4 o'clock, 13mm running parallel to the margin. Otherwise in good condition.

The sitter, born Robert Leigh, married Margaret Colclough, daughter of Sir Caesar Colclough, 2^nd Bt., on 1 October 1673, thereafter he took the name Leigh-Colclough. He lived at Rosegarland, County Wexford, Ireland. The cypher on the reverse of this miniature, RL, indicates that the portrait was taken before his marriage.
