Adélaïde Abraham de Tours married the eldest son and namesake of the Swedish painter Alexander Roslin (1718-1793). It was Alexander Roslin, senior, who encouraged Périn Salbreux to specialise in painting portrait miniatures after they had met in Paris and become friends.
