Condition
The canvas is original. The canvas undulates slightly. There is a faint stretcher bar mark towards the lower edge. All elements of the collaged canvas appear securely adhered. There is some minor fraying to the edges of these elements, but this largely seems in keeping with the Artist's intentions. There are one or two places where the adhesive is visible. There is minor frame abrasion at the extreme edges of the canvas. There is a faint vertical scuff towards the lower right corner with a further more minor vertical scuff towards the top of the diamond feature, with one or two possible more minor instances elsewhere. There are a few minor instances of surface matter and detritus and some light surface dirt in places. This excepting, the work appears in very good overall condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching. The work is floated in a simple painted wooden slip frame.
