Vega Sicilia 'Unico' 1961 Ribera del Duerou. 3vts, bin-soiled labels, soiled capsules, 1 label with sticker adhered85% Tinto Fino, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, Malbec and Albillo. I have had the odd bottle that was a little oxidised, but it was always thick, sweet and ripe. In 2013, a marvellous bottle, with lovely sweet spiciness on the nose. Then, so very sweet and melting on the palate. Fabulous wine. Both meaty and fruity, like some old English dishes that marry these tastes.
