Claw-set with an oval ruby weighing 1.09 carat, framed by millegrain-set circular-cut diamonds, size 491/2, French assay mark for platinum, indistinct maker's mark, gross weight 4.85 grams.

Condition

Accompanied by Carat Gem Lab report no. CGL18478, dated December 2018, stating that the ruby measuring 6.40 x 5.70 x 3.30 mm weighing 1.09 carat is of Burmese origin, with no indication of heat treatment. French assay mark for platinum, indistinct maker's mark. Ruby measuring 6.39 x 5.37 x 3.40mm, medium red/purple, with typical inclusions visible under 10x magnification (dark crystals, fingerprints. Overall in good condition, gross weight 4.85 grams.
