the Great Master seated on a lotus base, his hands holding a vajra and kapala while a khatvanga topped with a trishula rests in the crook of his left arm, wearing voluminous robes, flanked by his consorts Mandarava and Yeshe Tsogyal, surrounded by a retinue of dakinis, buddhas, lineage holders, and protectors Himalayan Art Resources item no. 13603.

Condition

In good overall condition. Accretion and some abrasion to the surface in areas throughout.Layer of varnish added to the verso. Minor areas of consolidation above the palace and below the lotus in the center extending to the left side in the bottom third of the painting and in the upper right quadrant between to central figure and the figure on the right.
