Condition

In very good overall condition. With traces of red and black polychromy throughout. Overall accretion with some abrasion and loss to the gilding on the top of the lotus base. The base cast in two separate pieces and each figure cast separately all of which was assembled, visible from the underside. A now missing aureole indicated by two rectangular holes on either side of the back of the base. Some bending and a cracking along the back intersection where the double lotus base is adhered. A large hole in the middle of the backside of the base, most likely used to affix the sculpture to a larger shrine ensemble.
