Condition

Overall fair condition for an object of this type and age. Wear and accretion to the surface throughout including areas of particular loss along the left side of the nose and left eye where the surface of the stone has eroded. Other areas of detail are still delineated in the jewelry, the garment, hands and flesh of the figure. The back left side is covered in a yellow glaze. A metal rod inserted through the stone attaches it to a square base. No restoration.
