the bodhisattva seated in yogic posture on a dais supported with elephants with trunks facing forward, adorned with crown and jewels, the left eye with silver inlay, the right now missing, and holding a vajra cradled in his principal right hand and a ghanta at waist level in his left, his second left arm bearing a bow held high in the air while the second right arm suspends the end of an arrow downward, surrounded by an aureole of four offering devis that encompass a decorated halo Himalayan Art Resources item no. 13618.

Condition

With overall wear, accretion and abrasion throughout, consistent with age and ritual use. Loss to lower right corner of the base as visible in illustration. Silver inlay now missing from proper right eye.
