Condition
The board is stable and examination under UV light reveals no sign of retouching. There appears to be evidence of ingrained dirt into the encaustic, likely inherent to the artist's practice. There are some minor scratches to the wash in the background and some nicks to the extreme edges, most notably to the upper left corner, where there is a flattened crease. This work is in overall good condition.
