Condition
The canvas is lined. Examination under UV light reveals a layer of varnish preventing the UV light from fully penetrating, however there appear to be signs of fluorescence which could pertain to old retouching predominantly in the sky to the upper left of the composition. There are fine lines of stable craquelure in the dark green and purple pigment. There is some ingrained dirt, which may benefit from a clean. This work is in good overall condition.
