Condition

Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, hinged to the mount in two places along the left edge and floating in the mount. The edges of the sheet are deckled. The sheet is lightly time stained, and there is a repaired minor loss to the sheet (3cm.) associated to a former artist pinhole, to the centre of the upper edge. There are a few spots of foxing to the background along the left edge, and the sheet is gently undulating in the lower left corner. There is some spatters of pigment to the sheet in places, the largest of which is to the centre on the model's chest, possibly original. Overall, this work is in good condition.
