The canvas is strip lined. Examination under UV light reveals a milky varnish layer preventing the UV light from fully penetrating however, there appears to be an area of retouching in the lower left quadrant as well as a spot of retouching to the upper left corner of the mirror's frame. There are very fine and entirely stable lines of craquelure in the brown pigments in the lower right quadrant. There is a minor spot of paint loss to one of the pink roses, one minor paint loss to the background in the upper left corner as well as a minor paint loss to the extreme lower right edge. There is some evidence of minor frame abrasion along all four edges, not visible when framed. This work is in overall good condition.
