The canvas is not lined, and examination under UV light reveals no signs of retouching. There are artist pinholes to the centre of the upper and lower edges, as well as to the right corners. There are some very fine isolated lines of craquelure in places, with a small area of more prominent craquelure to the white pigment of the shop front to the far left of the composition, as well as to the window of the corner store. There are three horizontal milky lines of varnish to the upper part of the composition, possibly original. This work is in overall good condition.
