Condition
The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV light reveals a thick varnish preventing UV light from fully penetrating. There are spots of retouching to extreme edges and a spot of retouching to one of the central blue elements. There is a further spot of retouching towards the upper centre of the composition with a corresponding wax reinforcement visible on the reverse of the canvas. This work is in overall good condition.
