Condition

The canvas is lined. Examination under UV light reveals no signs of retouching. There are fine lines of craquelure to the upper part of the composition. There are small spots of paint loss to the extreme edges, which are not visible when framed. There is a spot of gold pigment to the upper part of the right edge which has rubbed off from the frame. There are a number of fly spots to the trunk of the tree as well as to the sky. This work is in overall good condition.
