The canvas is lined. Examination under UV light reveals a layer of varnish preventing the UV light from fully penetrating; however, examination does reveal a few spots of retouching to the upper left corner, minor spots of retouching in places to the extreme edges, and to the sky in the upper right quadrant. There is a minor loss to the pigment (approx 1cm.) to the centre of the extreme left edge, not visible when framed. There is a very light surface scratch to the foliage of the large tree on the extreme right. This work is in overall good condition.
