The canvas has been lined. The supporting canvas has been in turn wax-lined. There is some minor frame abrasion along all four edges. There is very thin and stable craquelure throughout the composition. Under UV inspection, there is a thick layer of varnish which is difficult to read through. There are a few pin-dot strokes of inpainting above the signature toward the lower-left corner, in the figs and along the edge just above the lower-right corner. There are a few strokes of possible inpainting along the right edge, likely to address frame abrasion. There are a few strokes of inpainting to address craquelure in the center of the composition on the neck of the bottle. This work is in good condition.
