Condition

The chalk-primed linen is fully mounted on original artist's card mount. The top and bottom edges of the sheet are deckled and the left and right edges have been cut. There is a two inch tear running vertically in the upper right corner, likely inherent from the time of execution. There are a couple additional minor tears noticeable on close inspection toward the upper left corner. There is also a repair running horizontally across the bottom margin of the mount, faintly visible with staining along the lower right and left edges. There is also a small crease and small nick to the mount along the middle right edge, as well as a slightly larger diagonal tear running across the work's title. There are a few other minor surface stains. The work is otherwise fine and in overall good condition.
