The necklace suspending a door-knocker style pendant designed as a lion, set throughout with round diamonds and two marquise-shaped ruby eyes, on a band composed of navette-shaped links set with round diamonds, internal circumference 12½ inches, signed VCA, numbered 45686, one section detachable for wear as a bracelet, length 7¼ inches, the detachable pendant may be worn as a clip-brooch, numbered 338H-2A, pendant loop numbered 338H-2B; circa 1970; together with earclips of similar design, set with two marquise-shaped rubies, accented by round diamonds, unsigned.

Condition

In good condition. Detachable pendant with excess solder and metal porosity. Mountings stamped 18K and inner clasp on necklace and earclip backing stamped 14K. The marquise-shaped rubies in the pendant are medium purplish red, eye clean, one ruby with cavity on the crown. The marquise-shaped rubies in the earclips are medium light pink, slightly included. The diamonds weighing a total of approximately 74.25 carats, approximately F-H color, VS clarity. Earclips measuring 1 3/4 x 3/4 inch. All clasps secure.
