appears to retain the original finials, inscribed Samuel L. Moody to the underside of one candleslide; finial plinths and drop pendant replaced.

Condition

Wear, discoloration and minor losses to edges commensurate with age and use. Retains a key. The finials, while seemingly period, have some wear and losses to the edges, in particular the top 1/2" of the central finial is lacking. Refinished. The hardware is replaced. The bottom board of each drawer in the lower case has age cracks. The glue blocks and supports to the rear feet are replaced. The foot facings of each of the rear feet and the front facing of the proper right front foot have been cracked and reglued, approximately 3" to 4" from the bottom of the foot. The prospect door and the lower three long drawers set within the writing desk are replaced. The drop pendant is replaced.
