La Tâche 2004 Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Côte de Nuits, Grand CruIn 2010 from magnum, so intoxicating and spicy. Very black fruit. But also such luscious red fruit on the palate, like really rich redcurrants. The tannic structure is very well balanced and covered with glycerol, a real feat. Briary blackberries on the finish. Stunning for the year - and excellent anyway.
