The textured gold necklace accompanied by four interchangeable brooch-plaques respectively set with an oval-shaped citrine, an amethyst cabochon, an oval-shaped opal and a baroque cultured pearl, accented with round diamonds, total gross weight approximately 128 dwts, signed Grima, with maker's marks and British hallmarks; 1971. With signed outer box.

Condition

In good condition, the mountings with light scratches commensurate with light wear, and a few areas of discoloration, not noticeable when worn. Each item stamped 18 and 0.750 for 18 karat gold. Additionally stamped with marks for London and the year 1971. Pendants each fitted with clip fittings. The citrine, estimated to weigh approximately 21.00 carats, is medium yellowish orange, eye clean with moderate color zoning. The amethyst, estimated to weigh approximately 25.90 carats, is deep slightly violetish purple, slightly included. The boulder opal with strong play-of-color, with green and blue hues featuring prominently with flashes of orange, and moderate crazing, noticeable only upon close inspection. The baroque cultured pearl, measuring approximately 13.0 x 9.9 mm (depth not obtainable due to mounting), is of creamy white body color, with aubergine overtone, good luster, and moderate blemishing including wrinkled and uneven skin and pitting, as is typical of baroque cultured pearls. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.80 carats, are approximately G-H color, predominantly VS clarity with a few SI examples. Necklace clasp closes securely. Necklace width approximately ⅞ inch. Citrine pendant-brooch dimensions approximately 1¾ x 1½ inches. Amethyst pendant-brooch dimensions approximately 2 x 1½ inches. Opal pendant-brooch dimensions approximately 1¼ x 1⅜ inches. Baroque cultured pearl pendant-brooch dimensions approximately 1½ x 1⅜ inches.
