The carved emerald top set on a base pavé-set with single-cut diamonds and cabochon onyx, applied with enamel, the cap composed of fluted onyx surmounted by single-cut diamonds and buff-top emeralds; circa 1925.

Condition

In good condition, with minor surface wear to the mounting commensurate with age. Mounting tests as platinum. Indistinctly numbered G71, on the base of the pin, beside the smaller enameled ring. The carved emerald top measuring approximately 17.50 x 17.40 x 15.00 mm, medium light bluish green, moderately included with some eye-visible dark surface reaching inclusions. The buff-top emeralds with minor chips and abrasion visible under magnification. The fluted onyx terminal in very good condition. One onyx cabochon with a small chip visible under 10x magnification. The black enamel in good condition, with one very small chip visible under 10x magnification. The single-cut diamonds are near colorless and predominantly VS clarity. Length approximately 3¾ inches.
