Condition

The sheet is laid down on a secondary sheet of card. The sheet is unevenly cut along all four edges. There are Artist's pinholes in each corner. The sheet undulates throughout, in keeping with the Artist's materials and working methods. There is an historic restored tear along the lower edge, in the lower left quadrant. There are a small number of fine creases and tiny nicks around the edges of the sheet. There is a tiny indentation at the extreme upper edge. There are some light scuffs to the sheet, most visible in the figure's jumper. There are light handling marks and instances of surface dirt throughout. This excepting the work appears to be in good overall condition. The work is window mounted and held behind glass in a simple wooden frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
