Condition
Examined in the frame. Original unlined condition, with a patch adhered to the reverse of canvas at upper right. The work presents well, aside from a pin dot accretion to the left of the man's head. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly and there is some brushy fluorescence on the floor, along lower left edge, and in the doorway at upper left.
