Made to celebrate its winning of the prestigious Aiguille d'Or in the 2011 Grand Prix d'Horlogerie, De Bethune launched two limited editions of its iconic DB 28 model. One with rose gold minute hand, the other, like the present lot, offered with a polished steel skeletonised hour circle, platinum and blackened steel moon, mirror-polished titanium case and articulated zirconium lugs. The movement is visible through the sapphire case back and further enhanced by rose gold wheels and a gold hand for the linear power reserve.

Limited to 50 pieces, the present lot is numbered 21 and complete with original certificate and presentation box.
