Condition

Good overall condition. The Kingwood presents with discoloration throughout the surface, as visible in the catalogue illustration. The lower shelf presents with some hairline craquelures to the veneer, inherent to the aging process of the rosewood. The table has been previously re-varnished and presents with a few rare scratches and a few tiny indentations, including two more visible scratches on the table top (a scratch/scuff of approximately 2 cm and a light scratch on approximately 20 cm with two tiny scuffs at the end). There are a few rare tiny instances of previous restorations, not visually distracting. Along the edge of the table top, a piece of veneer of approx. 7 x 1 cm has been restored and appears slightly darker. Some thin seam separations between the legs and the table top, that appear to have been previously restored. The bronze feet with some light scratches, consistent with age and use. This lot is sold with a later plexiglass top.
