Condition

Good overall condition, consistent with the history of the piece. The cane seats have most likely been replaced at a later time. The wood presents with the usual scratches, scuffs and dents throughout the surface, consistent with age and use. They are instances of previous restorations (filling of previous dents and chips) and the wood has been covered by a thick later varnish. The bottom of the legs presents with some larger chips, consistent with age and use. The lower rail of one backrest presents with a chip of wood of approximately 5 x 0,5 cm. The fabric seat cushion are newer and in excellent overall condition.
